ORDINANCE NO. 5
An Ordinance to amend Section Number 1, of Ordinance Number 2, of
the City of South San Francisco, entitled "An Ordinance fixing the
number of regular meetings to be held by the Board of Trustees of
the City of South San Francisco in each month, and the day, hour
and place of holding the same," (passed and adopted October 5th. 1908).
The Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco, do ordain
as follows:
Section 1. Section one (1) of Ordinance Number Two (2) of the City
of South San Francisco, entitled "An Ordinance fixing the number of
regular meetings to be held by the Board of Trustees of the City of
South San Francisco in each month, and the day, hour and place of
holding the same," passed and adopted October 5th. 1908, is hereby
amended so as to read as follows:
Section 1. The Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco
shall hold a regular meeting on Monday in each week, at the hour of
8 o'clock p.m. The Board shall not adjourn to any other place, than
to its regular place of meeting except in case of great necessity
or emergency. The meeting place of said Board shall be
at 310 Linden Avenue, in the City of South
San Francisco, said place being within the corporate limits thereof.
If the day for said meeting falls upon a legal holiday,
the Board shall meet upon the next day.
Section 2. This Ordinance shall be published once in THE ENTERPRISE
a weekly newspaper printed and published in said City of South San
Francisco: and shall take effect and be in force from and after its
passage.
Introduced the 2nd day of November, 1908.
Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of South San Fran-
cisco at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of said City
held on the 9th day of November, 1908, by the following vote:
Ayes, and in favor of the passage of said ordinance:
Trustees: Harry Edwards. H. Gaerdes. Thomas
Hickey. Daniel McSweeney. Andrew Hynding
Noes, and against the passage of said ordinance:
Trustees: None
Absent: Trustees, None
Signed, attested and approved as an ordinance of the City of South
San Francisco, this 9th day of November, 1908.
