The Board of~ Trustees, of the ~Ct~y of South 9~
do ord'~.ln as follows:
Secti~n 1. ~e Treasurer shall receive a salary of Three
Hundred (300) ~llars~. Der ~nnu~, pay~bl~/~.n~hly.
,Section ~. The/Cl~r-~ 's~tl~receive ~' salary of Seven Hu~-
dred ,and Twenty (720)~o,~]~a-~S ~PLer annum, Dayable monthl3.
Section 3. The marshal shall receive a s~{l~r3 of S~%en Hun-
tired and Twenty (720) Doll~rs per annum, payable mont:.:ly, and
shall be entitled %o charge, Co'lt~6~"and'receive for his 'se~ices
in civil and criminal proceedings ?the s~e fees as are allowed
Marshals under Section 41500d of %~ Political.'Code of the State
of California.
' Section 4. The kecor,Ser shall receive a salary of Three Hun-
dred (300) Dollars per annum, payable monthll and in addition
thereto shall be enti%le~] to collect and retain for his own use
~d benefit i~ civil cases such fees as are now or may be here-
after al.iowed by.law to Justices of the Peace in civil cases.
Section 5. The salaries he~eb3, fixed include compensation
for a~ services ren:~ered b3 the ~arshal and Clerk in a~ ex-
officio c~pacity, as assessor, t~ or license collector, or the
like. The Clerk and ~.~rsh~l :~h~ll ~:~.[.~o b~ ~ut~t ~-:.~. ~o a~ fees
allowed to them for issuing licenses under any ordinance of sai~
City of South S~ F~a~cisc0 regulatin~ the issuance of municipal
licenses.
Section 6. Ordinance Number EiEht of the City of South San
Francisco, passed on the 14th d~y of December, 1908, ~nd entitled
"An ordinance fixing the salaries and compensation of Treasurer,
Clerk, ~larshal and Recorder of' the City of South San Francisco"
is hereby repeale
Section 7. This ordinance shall be published once in "The
Enterprise;' a weekly newspaper printed and published in the City
of South Sa~.~a_nc~co a~d. ~hal) take~££ect and be in ~orce

Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of South
San Francisco, at a regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of
