The Board of Trustees of the City of South San Francisco
do ordain as follaws:
Section i. Every person, firm or. corporation, either as
principal or a~ent~ ~Fr~o maintains a laund-ry route, or who con-
ducts or carries on a laundry business as an agent, solicitor,
representative or employee shal~ Fay a license tax of one hundred
dollars per annum, payable quarterly in advance, unless the mas-
ter or principal has paid such license t~ax. It shall be unla~ful
to carry on or solicit

shall be.paid; ~:~rovided, however, 'that nothing herein contained
shall apply to any t~erson, fir~ or corporation having a fixed
