The Board of ~rustees of '~he City of South S~ ~r~ctsco
do ordain as follows:
Section 1. The monthly rates of compensation to be char~ed
or collected by any person, fi~ or corpora%ion s~ppl~/in~ water
to the inhabiters of said city, or to fi~s or corporations
therein, or to the said cit~~, for private or corporate uses or
purposes, for the year oo~e~ing Iuly 1, 1914, and e~ing ~une
50th, 1915, are hereby fixed as follows:
Section 2. General monthly rates for ~ater served through
cen%s per hundred cubic Ceeg; provided ~ha% ~e charge for MeT-
ring wa~er [brough a me,er shall no% be lees ~an one dollar
pet mon-bk Cot anf service connec~Aon.
Section 5. Water supplied othe~ise th~ through meters
shall be furnished at meter rates for the ~ount estimated to
have been so supplied.
Section 4. The charge and general monthly wa~er rat~ for
water used for stree~ sprinkling, or for' gene'ral pu~oses by
said city. shall be at the rate of ~/. ~
cents per hundred cubic feet.
Section 5. ~eter rates shall be payable at the end of each
month. ~
Section 6. ~ere meters are used, all bills or receipts for
the pa~ent of said rates or charges ~all have written thereon
the meter readings for which such charges are made.
Section 7. ~Xa ordinance shall be published o~ce in "The

Enterprise", a weekly newspaper published and circulated in the
City of South San Francisco, and shall take effect and be in '
force on the first day of .Iuly, 1914.
