The Bo~d of Trustees of the City of So.th S~ ~r~eiseo do
ordain as follows:
Section l. Ordinance No. 70 of the City of So.th S~ ~raneieeo,
entltIed "~ ordinate eetabllehing fire limits, regulating the eon-
atr~etion, alteration ~d repair of b~ildlnga, the location of
l~dries, bakeries, NOtion pier.re theatres, garages, J~k stores,
and lime warehouses, the disposal of r~[bb~.eh ~d the storage of
gasoline and other prod[lets of petrole~ in the Oity of
~raneleeo, and prescribing t.he penalty for the violation of said
ordlnaneei" pae~ed ~d adopte~ by the Board of Trustees of the
City of So.th S~ ~r~elaeo J~ly ?th, Igls, is hereby ~en~ed by
the addition of a new section, which seetlon ia designated as Section
Section IO-I/E. No Deraon firm or co. oration aha[l erect
bmildtng or atr~ot~re of a~ kind, ~emede[. or enlarge, add to or
extend any building or str~[ot~re already erected within the City of
Somth San ~r~eleoo without filet obtsfning a building pe~it from
the Board of Trustees of the City ~f So.th S~ ~raneieeo. The
pmrpose of this provision is declared to be to enable said City to
obtain ~d preserve a record of the eonet~otion of all new b~tildings
and alterations of existing buildings within said Cl~y. No
permit ~hall be required where the cost of stroh new b~ilding or
teration of an existing building shall not exceed One Ilttndred
Dollars 45100.00). Ail applications shall be filed with the City
Clerk,
The applicant for stroh permit shall state the exact site to be
occupied, the material, dimensions, and estimated cost of the pro-
posed building or structure. If the al%oration is to be made in an
existing building, a statement in writing setting forth what al-
terations or improvement are contemplated and giving the general
character, nature and extent of the same.shall be filed with said
City Clerk.
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published once in "The
Enterprise", a weekly newspaper printed and published in the City
of South San l~rancisco and shall take effect and be in force thirty
days after the date of its passage.
