~D ~ROVIDING A ~ ENAL~Y FOR T~ VIOLATIO~ T~REO~
The Board of Tr~zstees of the City of So~th San Pr~olsco do
ordain as follows:
Seotlon 1. It shall be ~lawful for any person or persons to
hold or conduct ~y public dance, d~cing party or danefng entert~n-
mont, or ~I partfz or entertainment of which danctng~orms a part,
later than the hour of t~leve o'clock, midnight, on anyAday of the
week.
Section C. It shall be ~lawfu! for an~ person or persons
to be. present at any publico dance, dancing party or dancing entertain-
later than the ho,.zr of tw!eve o clocK,midnight, ~~&~
Section S. It shall be ~nlawful for the owner, tenant, or
lessee of ~y~ hall or building to per~uit or allow any public dance,
dancing party or d~cl~~g~entertainment, or any party ~ entertainment
of which d~cfng forms a part to be held or cond~.oted in such~/~'~~
~dazto~ ~he week.
Section 4. Any person or persons who shall violate ~y pro-
vision of this ordinate shall be guilty of a nisdene~or,aud upon
conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine of not less than
~Twenty-five Dollars ($25.00) and not exeeedfng Pifty Dollars
or by imprisonment not exceeding thirty (BO) days, or by both such
fine ~d imprisonment.
Section 5. Th~.s ordinance shall be published once in "The
Enterprise", a weekly newspaper ]~rinted and published in the City of
Se~th San Fr~cisco, ~d shall ta~e effect and be in force from and
after the expiration of ~thirty (J0) days after the date of its
