Chair Boldenweck raised concerns about not having enough space for the Recycled
Art pieces.
Specialist Santos responded that in the past they have received on average about 40
pieces of General Art; however, one year they did receive up to 71 pieces. As far as
sculpture pieces they have received no more than a couple of pieces. Since Recycled
Art is a new media, she did not know how many entries to expect.
Commissioner DeNatale suggested raising the entry fee. Commissioner Boldenweck
responded that the low fee was more of a courtesy to the artist.
