The City Council of the City of South San Francisco
does ordain as follows:
Section 1. Section 19 of Ordinance No. 150 entitled:
"An ordinance of the City of South San Francisco establishing
for the accumulation, collection and removal of gar-
regulations
bage", passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of
~outh San Francisco on the 1st day of april, 1~29, as amended,
shall read as follows:
Section 19. ~he maximum rates for service to be charged
by garbage collectors for garbage removal are hereby fixed as
fo llows:
1. For private dwelling houses, dry garbage
only, in 25 gallon cans, the weight of
the garbage not exceeding 50 pounds, for
one collection per week ~ .50 per month
For one collection per month .25 per month
2. For special pick-ups, such as brush,
rubbish and boxes,, for each pick-up 1.00 per cubic yard
3. For restatu'ants, hotels, cafes, stores
and similar places of business, and fac-
tories, wet or dry garbage: For 25
gallon cans, the contents not exceeding
70 pounds in weight, for each cmn,
1 pick-up per week 1.00 per month
2 pickups per week 2.00 per month
3 pick-ups per week 3.00 per month
4 pick-ups per week 4.00 per month
5 pick-ups per week 5.00 per month
6 pick-ups per week 6.00 per month
4. For restaurants, hotels, cafes, stores
and similar places of business, and fac-
tories, for boxes, paper '-and other rubbish 1.00 per cubic yard
5. For restaurants, hotels, cafes, stores
and similar places of business, and
factories, where csms are not used 1.00 per cubic yard
6. For the removal of ashes from incinerators
not exceeding 60 gallons in capacity 1.50 for each service.
7. For the use Qf a truck for special service,
with driver ~i~ 6.00 per hour
Section 2. This ordinance shall be published once in
"The Enterprise", a weekly newspaper of general circulation,
published in said City of Oouth San Francisco, and shall take
effect and be in force on the expiration of thirty (30) days
after the date of its passage and adoption.

Passed and adopted as an ordinance of the City of South
S~a~ Francisco at a regular meeting of the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco, held this ? ~ aay of }~ovember,
1945, by the following vote:
