AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO PROHIBITING PARKING ALONG THE NORTH SIDE OF SOUTH CANAL STREET BETWEEN THE INTERSECTION THEREOF WITH LINDEN AVENUE AND 'THE INTERSECTION THEREOF WITHC:~:~Y;~,A~... SOUTH SPRUCE AVENUE. The City Council of the City of South San Francisco does ordain as follows: Section'l. It shall be unlawful to park any vehicle, as that word is defined in the Vehicle Code of the State of California, alon~ the north side of South Canal Street between the intersection thereof with Linden Avenue and the intersection thereof with South Spruce Avenue. Section 2. The Director of Public Works is hereby instructed to place appropriate signs upon South Canal Street notifyin~ the public of the provisions of this ordinance. Section 3. Any person, persons, or corporation who shall violate any portion of' this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and, upon conviction thereof, shall be punished by a fine not exceedin~ the sum of FIFTY DOLLARS ($50.00), or by imprisonment for a period not exceedin~ thirty (30) days, or by both sech fine and imprisonment. Section 4. This ordinance' shall be published once as required by law and shall take effect and be in force followin~ the expiration of thirty (30) days from and after the date of its adoption. Introduced this 29th day of A~gust, 1955.
