2. Report regarding consideration of a remand from City Council regarding an appeal of a Planning
Commission decision on September 17, 2020, adopting an Initial Study/Mitigated Negative
Declaration (IS/MND) and approving certain entitlements to construct a new five-story hotel at 840

existing warehouse space at 88 South Linden Avenue in the Mixed Industrial (MI) Zoning District in
accordance with Title 20 of the South San Francisco Municipal Code (SSFMC) and determination that
the project is categorically exempt from CEQA. (Christopher Espiritu, Senior Planner)
