Mayor Fernekes

Roll Call
Present:
City Manager Nagel, City Attorney Mattas,
and Assistant City Manager Van Duyn; and
staff members: Finance Director Steele, Fire
Chief White, Assistant Finance Director Perez
and Public Works Superintendent Batis

Public Comments
None.
4. Study Session
a. Overview ~ Outstanding bond issuances
Staff report presented by Finance Director Steele. Council gave positive feedback
on the report as submitted.
b. Status of disaster preparedness
Staff report and visual presentation given by Fire Chief White.
Council discussed the matter of a core group of employees, who live locally, to
assume responsibilities and be trained as part of the CERT group.
Emergency preparedness goals for FY 2006-07 were accepted by Council, as
presented.
5. Adjournment
Being no further business, Mayor Fernekes adjourned the meeting at 7:20 p.m.
