Call to Order 6:00 p.m. 2. Roll Call Present: Councilmembers Addiego, Fernekes and Matsumoto, Vice Mayor Gonzalez and Mayor Garbarino Absent: None Staff present: City Manager Nagel and City Attorney Mattas 3. Public Comments None 4. Interview applicants for the Conference Center Authority, Housing Authority, and Parks & Recreation Commission The following applicants were interviewed (questions prepared March 2007): Conference Center Authority: . Lynn Forrest (interviewed concurrently for Parks & Recreation Commission) . Ray Y oschak . Paul Formosa . Dennis Rosaia (seeking reappointment) . Steve Dworetzky (seeking reappointment) Housing Authority: . Natalie Gore . Bill Breite . Janice Oleson . Carolyn Reardon (seeking reappointment as Tenant Commissioner) . Earsie Johnson (interviewed concurrently for Parks & Recreation Commission) . Stacey Oborne Parks & Recreation Commission: (taken out of order due to scheduling conflict) . Sandra Vergara Housing Authority (continued): . Gary Smith Parks & Recreation Commission: . Richard Holt . David Gallagher . Dennis Bray (Recess: 8:40 p.m. - 8:47 p.m.) 5. Discussion and appointments to Conference Center Authority, Housing Authority, and Parks & Recreation Commission Councilmembers balloted and the City Clerk tallied the votes. The City Clerk announced the outcome as follows: . Conference Center Authority, three seats, three-year term expiring March 27,2010: First ballot: Ray Y oschak, Paul Formosa and Dennis Rosaia . Housing Authority, one seat, partial term expiring March 31, 2009: First ballot: Stacey Oborne . Housing Authority, one seat, full term expiring March 31,2011: First ballot: Natalie Gore . Parks & Recreation Commission, one seat, partial term expiring December 31, 2008: First ballot: David Gallagher Motion-Fernekes/Second-Gonzalez: To confirm the appointments as balloted (as outlined above), including the reappointment of Carolyn Reardon to the Housing Authority, a two year term expiring March 31, 2009.
