ROLL CALL Present.: Councilmcn Garbarino, Gonzalez and
Mullin, Vice Mayor Addiego, and Mayor

Absent: None.
Council of Cities Appointment.
Mayor Matsumoto explained the Annual December Meeting of the Council of Cities was
approaching and at the meeting she would vote for candidates for appointment to term expired or
vacant seats on various boards on behalf of the Council. She advised Council's procedure was to
provide the Mayor with direction on how the City should vote in the first round. In the event the
vote should move to the second round, the vote is at the Mayor's discretion, but Council could
provide input if it desired to give such direction.
Council discussed the various seats up for appointment and provided the following direction:
Transportation Authority (two [2] seats): Council would support Rosalie O'Mahoney,
Councilmember Burlingame and Roseanne Foust, Mayor Redwood City.
SamTrans Seat: Council would support Jim Hartnett, City Council Member Redwood City.
Secretary/Treasurer of the Council of Cities: Council would support Marge Colapietro,
Councilmember City of Millbrae
Vice-Chairperson of the City Selection Committee: Councilman Gonzalez volunteered to put his
name in for appointment if the incumbent chose not seek reappointment.
HEART: Council would support Diane Howard, Vice Mayor Redwood City.
2. Adjournment.
Being no further business, Mayor Matsumoto adjourned the meeting at 9:25 p.m.
