Called to Order: 6:32 p.m.
Roll Call: Present: Councilmen Garbarino, Gonzalez and
Mullin, Vice Mayor Addiego, and Mayor
Matsumoto.
Public Comments -comments were limited to items on the Special Meeting agenda.
Council interviewed applicants to fill Board and Commission term expirations and
vacancies as follows:
San Mateo County Flood Control District: Sam Bonanno.
Planning Commission: Ray Yoschak, Lisa Trujillo, John Prouty, Rick Ochsenhirt, Stacey
Oborne, Larry Fowler, Jr., Gilbert De Anda and Roberto Bernardo. Pradeep Gupta was
unable to attend the interview session.
Discussion and appointment of applicant to the San Mateo County Flood Control District.
After discussion, Council voted by ballot yielding the following result:
Sam Bonanno was voted to serve on the San Mateo County Flood Control District through
March 31, 2012.
Motion -Councilman Garbarino/Second- Councilman Mullin. To appoint Sam Bonanno to the
San Mateo County Flood Control District for a term to expire March 31, 2C12. Unanimously
approved by voice vote.
6. Discussion and appointment of applicants to the Planning Commission.
After discussion, Council voted by ballot yielding the following result:
John Prouty and Stacey Oborne were reappointed to the Planning Commission and Rick
Ochsenhirt and Roberto Bernardo were appointed to the Commission. All terms would expire
December 31, 2012.
Motion -Councilman Addiego/Second -Councilman Garbarino. To reappoint John Prouty and
Stacey Oborne and to appoint Roberto Bernardo and Rick Ochsenhirt to the Planning
Commission for respective terms to expire March 31, 201.2. Unanimously approved by voice
vote.
7. Adjournment.
Being no further business, Mayor Matsumoto adjourned the meeting at 9:25 p.m.
