CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE GRANT OF USE PERMIT (UP-39,
PLANNING CONI~ISSION RESOLUTION 2087); DESIGNATING
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS--FOR A PARCEL OF APPROXIMATELY
TEN ACRES LOCATED IN WESTBOROUGH C-1 DISTRICT ADJACENT
TO THE INTERSECTION OF WESTBOROUGH BOULEVARD AND
JUNIPERO SERRA FREEWAY.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco that,
WHEREAS, the City Council, upon duly-noticed hearing
on appeal, has considered the report and records of the City
Planner, respective departments and interested parties and
has considered the Resolution granting the Use Permit contained
in Resolution 2087 of the Planning Commission of the City of
South San Francisco, each and all of which have been considered,
evaluated and made a part of the record in the proceeding,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council makes the following
findings:
The establishment, maintenance, operation and use
for which the permit is sought, which use and site of same is
more particularly described in Resolution 2087 of the Planning
Commission of the City of South San Francisco, passed the 26th
day of June, 1967, will not, under the circumstances of the
particular case, be detrimental to the health, safety, peace,
morals, comfort and general welfare of persons residing or
working in the neighborhood of such proposed use, and will not
be detrimental or injurious to property and improvements in
the neighborhood or the general welfare of the City, if the
terms and conditions set forth in Planning Commission Reso-
lution 2087, and hereinafter set forth, are complied with or
the performance of same are adequately secured.
THE COUNCIL ORDERS THAT:
1. Incorporation of Resolution 2087.
Resolution 2087 of the Planning Commission of the City

of South San Francisco, passed the 26th day of June,
1967, entitled, "A Resolution Granting a Use Permit
for a Parcel of Approximately Ten (10) Acres Located
in Westborough C-1 District Adjacent to the Inter-
section of Westborough Boulevard and Junipero Serra
Freeway," is hereby referred to and by said reference
incorporated and made a part hereof.
Grant of Use Permit.
The City Council hereby orders that the Use Permit
as set forth in Resolution 2087 of the Planning Com-
mission passed the 26th day of June, 1967, entitled,
"A Resolution Granting a Use Permit for a Parcel of
Approximately Ten (10) Acres Located in Westborough
C-1 District Adjacent to the Intersection of Westborough
Boulevard and Junipero Serra Freeway," stands granted
as therein provided and on the terms and conditions
as therein provided except as hereinafter modified by
additional terms and conditions.
Additional Terms and Conditions.
The following additional terms and conditions shall
stand as modifications of the respective paragraphs
of Resolution 2087 as set forth below:
A. Resolution 2087, Paragraph 2-A:
The obligation to effect the actions set forth
in Paragraph 2-A of Resolution 2087 shall be borne
by Caesar Callan Homes, Inc., a corporation, and
Michael Callan, Thomas Callan, Jr., and Joseph
Caesar as individuals, and/or their heirs, suc-
cessors in interest and assigns.
B. Resolution 2087, Paragraph 2-B-2, Parcel Map.
The obligation to submit and process the parcel
map set forth in said referenced paragraph shall
be borne by Caesar Callan Homes, Inc., a corporation,
and Michael Callan, Thomas Callan, Jr. and
Joseph Caesar as individuals, and/or their heirs,
successors in interest and assigns.
C. Resolution 2087, Paragraph 2-B-2(C).
The agreement to grant the right-of-way and perform
the other obligations set forth in said referenced
paragraph with respect to said right-of-way shall
be borne by Caesar Callan Homes, Inc., a corpora-
tion, and Michael Callan, Thomas Callan, Jr.,
and Joseph Caesar as individuals, and/or their
heirs, successors in interest and assigns.
D. Sanitary Pumping Station No. 3.
Sanitary Pumping Station No. 3, as shown on Drawing
No. 5679, Plan GSC 102, Revision 4, entitled,
"Sanitary Pumping Station - Temporary Installa-
tion Westborough Unit No. 3A," shall be constructed
and installed by Caesar Callan Homes, a corpora-
tion, and Michael Callan, Thomas Callan~ Jr.,
and Joseph Caesar as individuals, and/or their
heirs, successors in interest and assigns. Said
temporary pumping station is part of the subdivision
improvements provided for in the agreement between
City and Caesar Callan Homes dated June 21, 1965,
for the area known as Westborough Unit 3-A or
Greenview Commons.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the
City of'South San Francisco at a regular
meeting held on the 5th day of September , 19 67
by the following vote:
