CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE GRANT OF A USE PERMIT
FOR A CAR WASH AS SET FORTH IN UP-73 AND DESIGNATING
ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS AND CONDITIONS.
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco that
WHEREAS, the Council has duly considered on appeal UP-73
as granted by the Planning Commission March 11, 1968, and
considered the additional qualifications and conditions con-
cerning hours of operation from 8:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.,
adequate control of noise and other nuisance factors, super-
vision by a qualified person during the hours of operation and
locking or adequately securing the facility before and after
business hours, which are more particularly hereinafter set
forth, and
WHEREAS, the Council finds and determines that said use
if made in accordance with the terms and conditions of UP-73
as issued by the Planning Commission and additional conditions
and qualifications as hereinafter set forth will not be detri-
mental to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort ~nd general
welfare of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of
such proposed use and will not be detrimental or injurious to
property and improvements in the neighborhood or to the general
welfare of the City.
NOW, THEREFORE, it is ordered that the following additional
qualifications and conditions are hereby designated for UP-.73
and said UP-73 shall stand granted as granted by'the Planning
commission on March 11, 1968, in accordance with the terms
and conditions by said Commission imposed and with the
additional qualifications and conditions as hereinafter set
forth.
1. Time of Operation:
The time of operation of the coin-operated car wash
as granted by the Planning Commission, UP-73, March 11, 1968,
shall be between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
2. Noise and Other Nuisance Factors:
The premises and the facility on said premises shall
be used in such a manner as not to create noise, sounds, vibra-
tions and/or other nuisance factors which will be detrimental
to the health, safety, peace, morals, comfort and general wel-
fare of persons residing or working in the neighborhood of such
proposed use and will not be detrimental or injurious to property
and improvements in the neighborhood or the general welfare of
the City.
3. Supervision.
Supervision by qualified operator shall be maintained
on the premises during the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 9:00 p.m.
4. Security of the Premises.
The facilities shall be locked or otherwise secured
at all times other than the operating times hereinbefore set
forth.
5. Revocation.
The permit is subject to revocation for violation of
any of the terms and conditions as set forth in the grant made
by the Planning Commission (UP-73) on March 11, 1968, and'the
additional qualifications and conditions hereinbefOre set
forth.
