HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 5182-1969RESOLUTION NO. 5%82 CITY COUNCIL, CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, STATE OF CALIFORNIA A RESOLUTION ACCEPTING A GRANT DEED FROM MERCK $ CO., INC., A NEW JERSEY 'CORPORATION. BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the Grant Deed from Merck & Co., Inc., a New Jersey corporation, dated August 28, 1969, which conveys to the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation, the parcel of property described in Exhibit A attached hereto, is hereby accepted and the City Clerk is authorized to record or cause recordation of the Grant Deed in the Official Records of San Mateo County. I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco at a on the 6th day of October lowing vote: regular meeting held , 1969 , by the fol- AYES, COUNCILMEN Frank J. BEGINNING at the most northerly corner of the lands described in the Deed from Cabot, Cabot & Forbes California Properties, Inc. to Merck & Co., Inc. by Deed recorded June 13, 1969 in Book 5651 of Official Records of San Marco County at Page 541; thence (1) from said Point of Beginning southwesterly alon~ the northwesterly line of last said lands S 30 28'28" W 487.47 feet to the most westerly corner of las~ said lands, last said point being also the most easterly corner of the lands con- veyed by Merck & Co., Inc. to Cabot, Cabot & Forbes California Properties, Inc. by Deed recorded June 13, 1969 in Book 5651 of Official Records of San Marco County at Page 529; thence (2) southerly along the easterly line of last said lands the following courses: S 30028'28'' W 22.79 feet, tangent to the preceding course along the arc of a curve to the left having a radius of 208 feet and a central angle of 27°13'05,' . , an arc distance of 98 81 feet and tangent to the preceding curve S 03°15'23'' W 688.68 feet to the southeasterly corner of last said lands; thence (3) easterly along the easterly prolongation of the southerly line of last said lands S 86°44'37'' E 30 feet; thence (4) leaving said prolongation northerly along a line parallel with and perpendicularly distance 30 feet easterly from the said easterly line of last said lands N 03°15'23'' E 688.68 feet; thence (5) continuing along said parallel line tangent to the preceding course along the arc of a curve to the right having a radius of 178 feet and a central angle of 27°13'05'', an arc distance of 84.56 feet and N 30°28'28'' E 40.62 feet to a point on the southerly line of the above mentioned lands con- veyed by Cabo~, Cabot & Forbes California Properties, Inc. to Merck & Co., Inc.; thence (6) northeasterly along a line parallel with and per- pendicularly distance southeasterly 30 feet from the said norti%westerly line of last said lands N 30°28'28'' E 470.18 feet to a point on the north- easterly line of last said lands; 'thence (7) northwesterly along last said line N 60°33' W 30 feet to the Point of Beginning and containing 0.889 .acres of land, more or less.
