REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF
SUPPLEMENT NO. 1 TO THE AGREEMENT WITH
CH2M HILL FOR PROFESSIONAL SERVICES
RELATED TO EAST GRAND AVENUE GRADE
SEPARATION
WHEREAS, in accordance with the provisions of the Community Redevelop-
ment Law (Part 1, commencing with Section 33000 of Division 24 of the Health
and Safety Code of the State of California) the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco being legislative body of the City of South San Francisco,
by Ordinance adopted December 17, 1979, declared that there is a need for the
Redevelopment Agency of the City of South San Francisco to function in the
City of South San Francisco and declared the City Council itself to be the
Redevelopment Agency; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has determined that it will be necessary to em-
ploy engineering consultants for a Grade Separation at East Grand Avenue and
the Railroad Tracks of the Southern Pacific Transportation Company with the
proposed redevelopment area for required or possible modifications; and
WHEREAS, the Agency has reviewed an agreement between said Agency
and CH2M Hill, California, Inc., which provides for said services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment Agency of the
City of South San Francisco as follows:
1. That the firm of CH2M Hill, California, Inc. be and is hereby
retained to act as engineering consultants to this Redevelopment Agency in
connection with the proposed East Grand Avenue Grade Separation project sub-
ject to the terms and conditions of the agreement between said parties dated
June 17 , 19 8~ ·
2. Execution of the agreement between this Agency and CH2M Hill

California, Inc. providing for professional services is hereby authorized.
3. The Executive Director is authorized to execute said agreement
on behalf of the Agency.
PASSED AND ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the Redevelopment Agency
of the City of South San Francisco on this 17th day of June , 1981.
