REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO AUTHORIZING CONSULTATION WITH
RESIDENTS AND COMMUNITY ORGANIZATIONS IN THE EL CAMINO
CORRIDOR REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT AREA
WHEREAS, on October 14, 1992, by Resolution No. 13-92,
the City of South San Francisco Redevelopment Agency (the
"Agency") initiated the process to adopt a Redevelopment Plan
for the E1 Camino Corridor Redevelopment Project (the "Plan")
and
WHEREAS, the purpose of the proposed Plan is more
particularly set forth in the staff report accompanying this
resolution; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the proposed Plan
will not cause the displacement of a substantial number of
low-and moderate-income families; and
WHEREAS, based on the foregoing, a Project Area
Committee ("PAC") as defined by State law need not and will
not be formed pursuant to Health & Safety Code Section 33385;
and
WHEREAS, while a PAC will not be formed, the Agency
desires to continue to seek active consultation with
interested residents, businesses, and community organizations
in the Project Area concerning the preparation, adoption, and
implementation of the Plan.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Redevelopment
Agency of the City of South San Francisco that the Agency is
committed to consult with and obtain the advice of residents,
businesses, and community organizations within the Project
Area in the manner provided in Health and Safety Code Section
33385 for redevelopment projects not requiring formation of a
statutory PAC.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was
regularly introduced and adopted by the Redevelopment Agency
of the City of South San Francisco at a special meeting held
on the 18th day of November, 1992 by the following vote:
AYES: Boardmembers Jack Dra.qo, Joseph A. Fernekes, and Rnh~t Yee
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: Boardmember Roberta Cerri TeQlia. and Chairman John R. P~nna
ABSENT: None
