REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
STATE OF CALIFORNIA
A RESOLUTION OF THE REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY OF
THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO RECOMMENDING THAT THE
CITY COUNCIL ADOPT AMENDMENTS TO THE FOUR REDEVELOPMENT
PLANS PURSUANT TO HEALTH AND SAFETY CODE SECTION 33333.6
WHEREAS, the State Legislature in 1993 amended the
Redevelopment Laws of California and specifically added Health
and Safety Code section 33333.6;
WHEREAS, the amendment to this Health and Safety Code
section 33333.6 required that cities amend their redevelopment
plans, as necessary, to conform to the time limits set forth in
the statute and related to plan activities, establishing debt,
and repaying debt;
WHEREAS, the attached draft ordinances amend the four
redevelopment plans of the City in compliance with those
statutory requirements,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Redevelopment Agency of the City of
South San Francisco does hereby resolve as follows:
The Redevelopment Agency recommends that the City Council
approve the four ordinance amendments attached hereto and related
to the Gateway Redevelopment Plan, the Downtown Central
Redevelopment Plan, the Shearwater Redevelopment Plan, and the E1
Camino Corridor Redevelopment Plan.
I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was regularly
introduced and adopted by the Redevelopment Agency of the City of
South San Francisco at a regular meeting held on the
26th day of October , 1994, by the following vote:
AYES: Boardmembers Jack Drago, John R. Penna, Roberta Cerri Teglia,
Robert Yee and Chairman Joseph A. Fernekes
NOES: None
ABSTAIN: None
ABSENT: None
