NO. 71
RESOLVED that, whereas the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
did, on the 16th day of June, 1930, pass its Resolution of Intention No. 71 to order
the street work described in said resolution of intention to be done in said City,
which resolution of intention was duly and regularly published as required by law,
as appears from the affidavit of A. E. Bramble, now on file in the office of the City
Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS notices of the passage of said Resolution of Intention No. 71
were duly and legally posted along the line of said contemplated work or improvement
and in front of all'the property liable to be assessed therefor, and along all the
open streets within the district in said resolution Of intention described, in the
manner and form required by law, as appears from the affidavit of Seymour Eikerenkotter,
now on file in the office of the City Clerk of said City; and
WHEREAS all protests or objections against said work have been duly
considered by ,said City Council and.have been by said City Council duly over-ruled.
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that public interest and convenience require
the street work described in said resolution of intention to be done; and the City
Council of said.City of South San Francisco hereby orders said street work to be
done in said City.
The City Clerk is hereby directed to post a notice of said work, to-
gether with plans and specifications therefor, on or near the Council Chamber DoOr
inviting sealed proposals for doing the work ordered, He is also directed to
publish a notice invi~ting such proposals and referring to the specifications posted
or on file, by two (2J'insertions in "The Enterprise and The South San Francisco
Joy,mai",. a weekly newspaper published and circulated in said City of South San
Francisco and hereby designated for that purpose.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San ~ranoisco, this 21st day
of July, 19Zo, by the ,following vote:
