'WHEREAS the Cit? CounciI of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 10th
day of August, 1931, pass its resolution of intention No. 79 for the improvement of
that certain street in 6aid resolution of intention mentioned and described, and under
an~ pursuant to the pro~isions of "Improvement Act of 1911,~ and. the amendments
thereto, reference to said resolution of intention being hereby expressly made for a
description of said work, and the district in said resolution of intmntio'n nentioned,
and for further particul~ars: and
WHEREAS the con, tract for said work and improvement was duly awarded to
Walker-Martin Corporatio~n Ltd., a corporation, and thereafter was duly completed
to the satisfaction of ~he Superintendent of Street of said City, whereupon a
diagram and assessment `were duly made and filed with the City Clerk; and
WHERF~S after due notice of the filing of said assessment was given, ae
provided by law, and said assessment was, on the 5th day of July, 1932, duly con-
firmed by the City Counc. il of said City of South San ~'rancisco and thereupon a
warrant was attached thereto by said Superintendent of Streets and thereafter said
diagram, assessment and.warrant were duly recorded by said Superintendent of Streets
and then delivered to the contractor in time, form and manner as required by said
act: and said warr~nt having been duly returned to said Superintendent of ~treets
with a written statement of all !ayments received upon said assessment, signed by said
contractor, which statement was thereupon duly filed by said Superintendent of
Streets with the record .of said Warrant and Assessment; and
WHEREAS on the ~6th day of August, 19Z2, said Superintendent of Streets
duly made and filed with the Clerk of said City Council a complete list of all
assess~::ents unpaid under said assessment upon the respective assessment or diagram
numbers thereon, whereupon said Clerk duly gave notice of the filing of said list
having fixed Monday, the l~..th day of S.eptember, 19~2, at the hour of ?:30 o'cl~k
p. m. as the time when interested persons may appear before said City Council and
show cause why bonds should not be issued upon the security of the unpaid assess-
ments shown upon said list, said time b~ing that of a regular nmeting of said City
Council; and it appearing from the affivdavit of Daniel McSweeney, City Clerk of
said City, which affidavit is now on £ile in the office of s~id City Clerk, that
said notice was posted as required by law, and it likewise appearing from the
affidavit of A, E. Bramble, which affidavit is now on file in ~he office of said
City Clerk, ~hat said n~tice was published ~s required by law: and
WHEREAS since the filing by said Superintendent of Streets of said list
of assessments unpaid, the following assessments have been naid to-wit:

contractor, which statement was thereupon duly filed by said Superintendent of
Streets with the record .of said Warrant and Assessment; and
WHEREAS on the [6th day of August, 1952, said Superintendent of Streets
duly made and filed with the Clerk of said City Council a complete list of all
assess~J~nts unpaid under said assessment upon the respective assessnent or diagram
numbers thereon, whereupon said Clerk duly g~ve notice of the filing of said list
having fixed Monday, the !~th day of S~eptember, 1932, at the hour of 7:30 o'c%~k
p. m. as the time when interested persons may appear before said City Council and

N0H THERE~'0RE, in consideration of the p~emises, the City Council of the
City of South San Francisco do order as follows:
Section 1: That bonds be issued upon the security of the unpaid assess-
ments in the amount o~ Sir-ty-nine Hundred Seventy-one and 60/100 Dollars ($6971.60)
in accordance with the provisions of said "Improvement Act of 1911" and the amend-
ments thereto, and of,the "Improvement Bond Act of 191~", and the amendments thereto,
under and pursuant to the resolutions, notices, and proceedings duly adopted and
taken by said Cit2 Council: said bonds shall be called "Imorovement Bonds" and
shall be datedNovembsr 22' 1932, and bear interest at the'rate of seven (7)' per
cent per annum, commencing August 7. 1932, and. shall be ten (10~ in number, and of
the following denominations and shall be numbered, designated and mature as here-
insurer indicated, and the coupons attached shall be of the denominations as follOws:

Section 2. Said bonds shall be issued in annual series and the unpaid assess-
men%s as determined by said City Council, together with the interest thereon, shall
remain and constitute a trust fund for the redemption and payment of said bonds and
of the interest which may be due thereon, which unpaid assessments shall be pay-
able in annual series corresponding in number to the number of series of the bon~s
issued, and an even annual proportion of each assessment shall be payable in each
year preceding the date of maturity of each of the severalseries of bonds, and
such proportion of each &ssess~ent coming due in any year, together with the
annual interest thereon shall in turn be payable in installments the same as
Ihs general municipal taxes said Ci%2 of South San Francisco on real property
are payable, and shall become delinquent at the same times and in the same pro-
portionate amoun~s and bear the same proportionate penalties for delinquency,
~aid bonds shall be signed by the Treasurer of said City of South San ~rancisco
and counter-signed by the Clerk who shall affix thereto the Official seal of
said city: and interest coupons affixed thereto shall be signed by the Treasurer
and bear his engraved or lithographed signature..' said bonds shall be sub-
stantially in the form set forth in said "Improvement Bond Act of 191~", as
amended.
The interest coupons attached to each of said bonds and evidencing
the interest to accrue thereon shall be numbered consecutively and shall be
substantially in the FolloWing form, to-wit:
