RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR FORD TRUCK
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, on the
19th day of Marcia, !934, duly open, examine and declare the sealed proposal
offered for furnishing to said city a Ford truck of the type hereinafter designated;
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of,South San Francisco that said
City Council hereby awards to Fred J. Lautze the contract for furnishing to said
City a Ford V 8 truck, of the type hereinafter more particularly designated, for
the sum of Nine Hundred and Ninety-four and ~2/100 Dollars ($994.72).
Said City Council hereby accepts the office of said Fred. J. Lautze to
purchase the Ford dump truck now owned by said City of South San Francisco and
used in the street department of said city for the sum of Three Hundred and
Twenty-five Dollars ($325.00). Said last mentioned sum of money shall be de-
ducted from the sum of money first hereinbefore mentioned, and the warrant of said
City of South San Francisco shall be issued to said Fred J, Lautze for the sum of
Six Hundred and Sixty-nine and 72/100 Dollars ($669.72).
The Ford truck first hereinbefore referred to is designated as a Ford V
8 Chassis with 131 1/2 inch wheel base truck with closed cab and hydraulic dump
body with dual wheels and overload springs and tires six (.6) inches by twenty (20)
inche s.
Th~ Mayor of said City of South San ?rancisco and the City Clerk of said
city are hereby authorized and directed, in the name of said City of South San
Francisco and under its corporate seal, to execute to said successful bidder, all
documents necessary to transfer the title to said Ford dump truck now owned by said
City, from said City of South San Francisco to said successful bidder.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced
and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Prancisco this 19th day
of March, 1934, by the following vote:

Jos. P. Quin3an
