OF SOUTH SA~ FRANCISCO PROVIDING FOR HOLDING A
GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION IN SAID CITY ON THE
14th DAY OF APRIL~ 1936.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that, for the purpose
of holding a general muncipal election in said City on the 14th day of April, 1936, as
provided by law, said City be, and the same hereby is divided into four (4) election
~,recincts to be known as Consolidated Voting Precinct "A" Consolidated Voting Precinct
B", Consolidated Voting Precinct "C", and Consolidated V~ting Precinct "D", respectively.
Consolidated Voting Precinct ,,A,, shall include all the territory deScribed in
South San Francisco Precinct No. l, South San Francisco Precinct No. 2, and South San
Francisco Precinct No. 4, as established by that certain resolution entitled "Resolution
and order dividing San Mateo County into election precincts and establishing boundaries
thereof," passed and adopted by the Board of Supervisors of the County of San Mateo,
California, November 12. 1935, and recorded in Volume 33 of the minutes of said Board
of Supervisors at page ~9 et seq., and the polling place for said Consolidated Voting
Precinct "A" shall be in Brawn's garage at No. 628 Miller Avenue, in said City of
South San Francisco.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "B" shall include all the territory described in
South San Francisco Precinct No. 3, ~South San Francisco Precinct No. 5, and South San
Francisco Precinct No. 6, as established by said resolution of the Board of Super-
visors of said ~ounty of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Consolidated Voting
Precinct "B" sh~llbe in Cavassa's Garage at No. 478 Baden Avenue, in saic City.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "C" shall include all the territory described in
South San Francisco Precinct No. 7, South San Francisco Precinct no. 8 and South San
Francisco Precinct No. 9, as established by said resolution of the Board of Supervisors
of said County of San Mateo, a~d the folling place for said Consolidated Voting
Precinct "C~ shall be in the store room in the Carmody Building at No. 315 Linden Avenue~
in said City.
Consolidated Voting Precinct "D" shall include all the territory described in
South San Francisco Precinct No. 10, South San Francisco Precinct No. ll and South
San Francisco Precinct No. 12, as established by said resolution of the Board of
Supervisors of said County of San Mateo, and the polling place for said Consolidated
Voting Precinct "D" shall be in Giustetto's garage at 206 California Avenue, in said
City.
The following named persons are hereby appointed members of the election
board for Consolidated Voting Precinct "A":

At said general municipal election the polls in each of said Consolidated Voting
Precincts shall be opened at six (6) o'clock a. m. of t he day of election and shall be
kept open un~til seven (7) o'clock p. m. of said day, when the polls shall be closed.
A suficient number of ballots shall b e and is hereby directed to be prepared and
caused to be printed for said precincts as provided by law and upon the proper kind of
paper, to-wit: the same as used at the general elections in the State of California,
by the Clerk of the City of South San Francisco and shall be furbished and provided
for use of the voters at said general election. The City Clerk is hereby also direct-
ed to procure the necessary voting bootks and see that they are property erected and to
secure all necessary election materials and supplies required by law.
Said City Clerk is hereby directed to give notice of said election by publication

thereo2 once in "The Enterprise and The South San Francisco Journal", a newspaper of
general circulation, published and circulated in said City, in the manner and form
required by law.

· I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 10th day of March,
1936, by the following vote:
