ARCHITECT FOR RECREATION CENTER BUILE~NG
RESOLVED ~y the city council of the City of South S~n Francisco that Dodge A. Riedy
be, and he is hereby employed as an architect to prepare such preliminary plans,
specifications and estimates for the construction of a recreation center building in
said City of South San Francisco and likewise to prepare an application to the United
States of America through the Federal Emergency Administration of Public Works for aid
in financing the construction of such recreation center building. It is understood that
if for any reason, said City of South San Francisco shall be unable to proceed with the
construction of such recreation center building, said Dodge A. Riedy shall receive the su
of One Thousand Dollars ($1,000.00) for said work. In the event that said City of South
San Francisco shall enter into a contract with any contractor or contractors for the con
struction of such building, said ~Dodge a.Riedy shall receive a commission of six (6) per
cent of the cost of the construction of such building, which commission shall include th
cost of such preparation of such plans, specifications, estimates and said application,
shall cover the work of preparing all other plans necessary for such building and the
supervision of constructing the same.

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the city council of the city of South San Francisco, this 27th day of June, 1938,~by
the following vote:
