RESOLUTION AWARDING CONTRACT FOR BUICK

WJJEREAS the city council of the cit,~~ of South San Francisco did, om the
7th day of November, 1938, duly open, examine and declare all sealed proposals
for furnishing to said city two (2) Buick automobiles, designated as Buick
Century four (4) door sedan automobiles, model Z9-61, with 126 wheel base and
l*l horsepower;
RESOLVED by the city council of the city of South San Francisco that said
city council hereby rejects all said sealed proposals, except that next hereinafter
mentioned, and hereby awards to Bellie Motor Company the contract for furnishing
to said city two (~) automobiles of the type hereinbefore designated, for the sum of
Three Thousand and Sixty-~mo and 74/100 Dollars (~3,062.V4).
Said city council hereby accepts theoffer of said Belli Motor. Company to pur-
chase the Buick automobile now owned by said City of South San Francisco and used in
the Police Department of said city, for the sum of Six Hundred Dollars ($600.00).
Said last mentioned sum of money shall be deducted from the sum of money first here-
inbefore mentioned, and the ~warrant of said city shall be issued to said Belli Motor
Company for the sum of Two Thousand Four hundred sixty~vo and 74/100 Dollars ($246~.V4).
The mayor of said city of South San Francisco and the city clerk are hereby author-
ized and directed in the name of said city andunder its corporate seal, to execute to
said successful bidder all documents necessary to tra~sfer the title of said Buick
automobile, now owned by said city, from said city of South San Francisco to said success-
ful bidder.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted
by the city council of thecity of South San Francisco, this Vth day of November, 1938,
by the following vote:
