RESOLUTION CANVASSING THE RETURNS AND DECLARING
THE RESULTS OF THE SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION
HELD IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ON THE
llTH DAY OF APRIL, 1950, FOR THE FORMATION OF
PARK RECREATION AND PAR~VAY DISTRICT IN THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.
WHEREAS, at the special municipal election held in the City of South San
Francisco on Tuesday, the llth day of April, 1950, pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No.
1520 entitled: "A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO CALLING AN
ELECTION FOR THE FORMATION OF PARK ~ECHEATION AND PAR~AY DISTRICT IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO," adopted March 6, 1950, as amended by Resolution No. 1532, adopted on,.the 13th day
of March, 1950, the number of voters voting and the whole number of votes cast at said special
municipal election were Four Thousand Six Hundred Fifty-nine (A,659);
That the number of voters voting in each of the precincts in said city
hereinafter mentioned for and against the proposition: "Shall the resolution of the City of
South San Francisco of the 2Otb day of February, 1950, that South San Francisco Park Recreation
and Parkway District be established be ratified?", were as follows:

WHEHKAS the total number of votes cast in favor of said proposition was
Three Thousand Three Hundred Sixty-eight (3,368), and the total number of votes cast against
said proposition was Nine Hundred Seventy-one (971); and
WHEHmAS the total number of votes cast for and in favor of said prop~
sition exceeds the total number of votes cast against said proposition;
NOW, THE~E~9P~;, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
South San Francisco as follows:
That said proposition, to-wit, "Shall the resolution of the City of
South San Francisco of the 20th day of February, 1950, that South San Francisco Park
Hecreation and Parkway District be established be ratified?", was, and this city council
hereby finds, determines and declares that said proposition was carried and was duly
accepted by more than a majority of all the voters voting thereon at said special
municipal election, and that the park recreation and parkway district in the City of
South San Francisco known as South San Francisco Park Recreation and Parkway District
has been established by the voters of said City of South San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resol~tion wa~ regularly intro-
duced and adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 18th day
of April, 1950, by the following vote:
Ayes, Councilmen Adolph~Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Leo Ferko, Victor Boido, Charles K. Elder.
Noes, Councilmen, None.
