RESOLUTION TO Rt~OVE ~'rEEDS
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco as follows:
Said city council hereby determines that weeds, which ~dll attain such a large growth as to be-
come a fire menace when dry, are now growing uoon streets in the City of South San Francisco,
and declares said weeds to be a public nuisance, which must be abated by t~eir removal. Other-
wise, said weeds will be removed and the m~isance abated by the city authorities, an5 the cost
and expenses of such removal shall be assessed upon all lots of tan~ in front of which such weeds
exist.
Said City Council hereby fixed Monday, the 15th day of May, 1950, at the ~our of 8 o'clock
p.m., and the council chamber in the city hall. of sai5 city as the time and place when an~ where
any and all persons having any objections to the proposed removal of sai~ wee~s may ap?.ear before
said city council ~n~ show cm~se w?~y the work of sai~ ~roposed removal of weeds shall not be car-
ried out i..n accordance with this resolution.
The city clerk is l~ereby ~irected to cause this resolution to be published by two
(2) insertions in South San Francisco Enterprise-Journal, a newspaper o£ general circulation,
p~blishe~ and circulated in said city.
