'~HEREAS Signor Salvatore Rebecchini, the Mayor of Rome, paid a visit to the City of South
San Francisco and conferred with some of the officials of our city; and
~HEREAS this city council recognizes the visit of the Mayor of Rome, one of the great and
historically important cities of the world, as an outstanding event in the history of our city;
RESOLVED by the city council of the City of South San Francisco that this city express its
cordial appreciation for the honor bestowed upon the city by the attention given it by the distinguished
visitor.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the city clerk send a copy of this resolution to the Mayor of
Rome and another copy thereof to the Municipal Council of Rome.
The foregoing resolution was adopted by the unanimous vote of the city council of the City
of South San Francisco, California, on the 5th day of June, 1950.
