RESOLUTION GIVING NOTICE OF PROPOSED ANNEX-
ATION OF UNINHABITED TERRITORY TO THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.
~.~EREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco has received a written
petition from JAMES L. CASEY, ALISE BARRETT, also known as ELISE C. BARRETT, and MARGARET SAVAGE,
also known as MARGARET C. SAVAGE, to annex to said City of SouthSan Francisco the uninhabited terri-
tory sit~ate in the County of San Mateo,State of California, described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the corporate limits line of the City of South San Francisco,
said point being on the northeasterly line of the 80 foot right of way of the City
and County of San Francisco at ]ts intersection ~.~th the northwesterly line of Block
9, as said block is designated on the map entitled "RANCHO BURI BURI, SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO, CALIFORNIA", which map was filed in the office of the Recorder of the
County of San Mateo, State of Ca] ifornia on Uarch 22, 19A6 in Book 25 of Maps at
pages 28, 29 and 30; thence from said point of beginning ~lort?~ 58° 51' 40" ~est
along said corporate limits line, said line also beinE the northeasterly line of the
80 foot right of way 966.25 feet to the northwesterly line of theft certain 32 Adre
tract of land described in Parcel 17 of the Decree of Distrib~tion in the matter of
the Estate of James T. Casey, deceased, to Margaret L. Casey, a certified copy of
which was dated March 27, ]?33 and recorded March 31, 1933 in Book 5~8 of Office. al
Records of San Mateo County at page 303 (22828C); thence North 41° 11'30" East along
the said northwesterly line 1~60.O2 feet; thence crossing said 32 Acre parcel So~th
38° 06' 50" first 838 feet and easterl,v tanfent to the last mentioned line on the arc
of a curve to the]eft ~,zith a radius of 3060 feet and a central angle of 2° 03' 38"
a distance of 110.O5 feet to the north westerly line of the above mentioned Burl Buri
Subdivision and the present corporate limits line of the City of So~th San Franci~co;
t~ence southwesterly along the last mentioned line to the point of beginninG, and
conta~ining 27,838 acres of ].and, more or less.
Being portion of the Buri Buri Rancho.

Lq~;IREAS said city co~ncil has fo~md, and does hereb? find that said JA.~S L. CAS~,
ALISE, B~R!{ETT, also known as ~]]ISE C B.aR~LETT~ and i~AR.,.~RET oAVAGE, also known as M~RGAR~ C SAVAGE,
are the owners of more than one-fourth (~) of the area of the land hereinbefore described and repre-
sent more than one-fourth (~) of the asses~ed value of said territory, accordin~ to the last preced-
ing equalized assessment roll of the County of ~an Mateo.
Said city co~]nc~l hereby designates the territory hereinbefore described as "STFRLING
MANOR" for the purmoses of identification.
RESOLVEU) by the City Council of the City of So~th San Francisco that Monday, the 18th
day of December, 1950, at the hour of 8 o'clock p. m., in the co~mcil chamber of the city hall in
said City of South San Francisco be, and the same hereby are fixed as the time and place when and
where any person or persons owning real property within the territory hereinbefore described, and so
proposed to be annexed, and having any objection to the proposed annevation of such territory may
at, pear before said c'[ty council and show cause why said territory should not be so annexed.
The city clerk of this city shall cause a copy of this resol~tion to be published
once a week for two (2) successive weeks prior to the date last hereinbefore mentioned, in the SOUTH
SAN FRANCISO0 E$.~:TERPRISF~-JO[RNAL, a newspaper of ~eneral circ~lation, published in said City of South
San Francisco.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resol~tion was regularly introduced and adopted
by the City Co~nci! of the Cityof South San Francisco this 20th day of November, 1950, by the follow-
ing vote:
Ayes, Councilmen Victor Boido, Char]es K. Eider, Adolph Sani, Joseph Bracco, Emilio Cortesi
Noes, Councilmen, None.
