A RE~OLUTION DISPOSING WITH RE~UIHEMENT OF RESIDENCE IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO FOR ELIGIBILITY TO APPLY FOR M~B~IP IN THE POLICE DEPARTMENT
OR LN THE I~RE DEPARTMENT.
Resolved by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that, during the year
commencing on May 22, 1951, and ending on May 21, 1952, residence of an applicant for appointment
as ap~liceman or as a member of the fire department in said city shall not be required. On
receiving an appointment as a policeman or as a fireman in said city, an applicant, not then
a resident of said city~ must thereupon take up residence in said city and continee as a resident
in said city at all times during hile~yaen% by said city, otherwise such appointment shall
become void.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by
the city council of the city of South San Francisco this 21st day of May, 1951, by the following
vote:
