A RESOLUTION OF IM~ENTION TO VACATE A SE~YER EASE~
MENT IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANGISC0.
RF~0LVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisoo, a muni-
cipal corporation in the County of San Nateo, State of California, as follows:
Section 1. It is the intention of said Ci~ty Council to order that the
right of way or easement for sewers for drainage~ and sanitary purposes, in the
land hereinafter described, be vacated.
The land hereinbefore referred to is all that certain land situate in' the
City of South San Francisco~ County of Sar~ ~.~ateo, St~te of galiforala, and des-
cribed as follows:
BEGINNING at apoint on the southerly line
of Linden Avenue, as said Avenue now exists
in said City of South San Francisco, where
it is intersected by the westerly line of
that certain 0.352 acre tract of land de-
scribed as Parcel One in the Deed from South
San Francisco Land and Improvement Company,
a corporation to Sierra and San Francisco
Power Company, a corporation, dated April 3,
1925 and recorded February ~6, 1926 in Book
218 of Official Records of San Mateo Co~uty
at page ~5; running thence from said point
of beginning, along the said southerly line
of Linden Avenue, North 63° 22' 30" West
125 feet to a point thereo~ thence ~ avi~g
said l~st mentioned line South 33° 25' o8''~
We~t 216.26 feet to a point, which is North
33~ 25~ o8'" East 95.1~ feet from the north-
easterly line of Armour Avenue; thence
South 56° 3~' 52'~ East~ on a line parallel
with and 95.12 feet nort]'~easterly from the
northeasterly line of Armour Avenue, 335.20
feet to a point on the said westerly right
of way line of Sierra and San Francisco Power
Company; thence on and along said westerly
right of way line N rth 08° 59' 46''~ West
305.52 feet to the ~oint of beginning.
Section 2e Said City Council hereby fixes Tuesday, the 4th day of September,
1951, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., in the city hall of said City of South
San F~ancisco, ~ounty of San ~ateo, State of~? C~ltfor~i~,as the time aud place
for hearing all persons interested in, or objecting to, the vacation of said right
of way or easement for sewers for drainage and sanitary purposes.
Section 3. Notices of the passage of this resolution of intention, giving
the time and p~ce of hearing thereon, shall be conspicuously posted along the
lines of said right of way or easement for at ~east ten gl0) days prior to said
hearing, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apa~rt, and not
l~ss than three (~) in all.
~ection 4. The action hereby taken by said City Oouncil ~is in pursuance
of that certain act of the Legislature of the State of Cal~ornia, known as
the "Street V~cation Act of 1941"~, the same being Division 9, Part 3, of the
~reets and Highways Code of the. State of Califo~nia.
Section 8. This resolution of intention shall be published by one (1)
insertion in the Enterprise-South San Francisco Journal, a newspaper of general
circulation, publ~ah~d and circulated in said City of South San Franciseo~
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regu)~ly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco~ this 'Sth day of
August, 1951, by the following vote:
