RDI2,I~? ON THE BAYSHORE HIGH'~AY.
-~{E]IEAS the no~nber of serious accidents occurring on the Ba2~rshore Highway'in the County of San
Marco has been greatly increasing and this i[mrease is due to careless and~illegal operation of automobiles;
and
:~EREAS, in the opinion of this city council, the number of such accidents can be greatly di-
minished by the increase of highway patro~nen on that highway;
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that CLIFFORD PETERSON, State
Highway Patrol Co~ssioner of California, be, and he is hereby requested to increase the n~ber of highway
patrolmen serving on the Bayshore Highway.
BE IT F~FRTHER RESOLVED that Senator HARRY L. PAR~iAN and Assemblyman RICHARD DOL'~2G be requested to use their
influence to secure adequate patroling of the Bayshore Highway.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution wasrregularly introduced and adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 27th day of August, 1951, by the following vote:
