A RESOLUTION ORD~ING THE VACATION OF RIGHT OF WAY OR EASieST
FOR SEW~P~ FOR DRAINAGE A~D SANITARY PURPOSE~.
~EAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 6th day of August,
1951, pass a resolution declaring its intention to order thevacation of the right of way or easement for
sewers for drainage and sanitary purposes in a strip of land fifteen (15) feet in width, crossing the land
hereinafter described, which land is all that certain lot or parcel of land situate in the City of South
San Francisco, County of San Mateo, State of California, and described as follows:
BEGINNING at a point on the s~utherly line of Lind~ Avmue, as said Avenue now exists in
said City of South San Francisco, where it is intersected by the westerly line of that
certain 0.352 acre tract of land described as Parcel One in the Deed from South San Francisco
Land and Improvement Company, a corporation to Sierra and San Francisco Power Company, a
corporation, dated April 3, 1925 and recorded February 26, 1926 in Book 218 of Official
Records of San Mateo County at page &5; running thence from said point of beginning, along
the said southerly line of Linden Avenue, North 63° 22' 30" West 125 feet to a point thereon;
thence leaving said last mentioned line South 33° 25' 08" West 216.26 feet to a point,
which is North 33° 25' 08" Fast 95.12 feet from the northeasterly line of Armo~ Avenue;
thence South 56° 34' 52" East, on a line parallel with and 95.12 feet northeasterly from
the northeasterly line of Armour Avenue, 335.20 feet to a point on the said westerly right
of way line of Sierra and San Francisco Power Company; thence on and along said westerly
right of way line North 08° 59' &6" West 305.52 feet to the point of beginning.
AND ~AS said resolution of intention was published and notice of the passage of said
resolution of intention was posted in the manner andform required bylaw, and by said resolution of inten-
tion, reference being hereby made to the affidavits of H~RY L. SCHWEININ~and HAZEL TAFt, ER, which affi-
davits are now on file in said matter in the office of the City Clerk of said City, amd are now made'a
part thereof; and
WH~EAS a public hearing on said resolution of intention was held at a regular meeting of
said City Council in the citF hall of said City of South San Francisco, on the &th day of September, 1951,
at the hour of 8:00 O'clock p.m.;
AND ~EREAS there was no protest against the vacation of said right of way or easement; and
WH~EAS said City Council of the City of South San Francisco has determined and hereby does
determine that said right of way or easement is unnecessary for present or prospective public purposes;
NOW, THEP~EFORE, said city council hereby orders that the right of way or easement herein-
before described be, and the same hereby are vacated.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted by the
City Council of the City of South San Francisco this &th day of September, 1951, by the following vote:
