HomeMy WebLinkAboutReso 1733-1951RESOLUTION OF INTENTION TO VACATE CE~TAIN STREETS Ah~D EASE~ENISIN THAT SUBDIVISION KNO~ AS "~NSTON ~ANOR NO.2 "IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, a municipal corporation in the County of San Marco, State of California, as follows: Section 1. It is the intention of said 8ity Council to order the following streets and easements in that certain subdivision known as "~iNSTON MANOR NO.2", as shown upon the map thereof filed in the office of the County Recorder of the County of San Marco, Califo'rnia, May 28, 1951, and recorded in Vol~une 33 of Maps at pages 28and 29, to be vacated: 1. Dundee Drive from the southwesterly line of Eong£or~vBr~vettot~½enm~W~heasterly line of Clary Avenue; 2. Dunman Way from the southeasterly line of Sut~m~ Avenue to the northwesterly line of Dundee Drive; ' 3. The five (5) foot overhang easement in Block 15; &, The anchor easement in Block 15, ~Bi~%~ 16 and Block 17; 5. The anchor easement in Block l~,e~7~x~d~ Drive. Sec%ion 2, Said City Council hereby fixes Monday, ~ the 7th day of January, 1952, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m. in ~he city hall of said City of. South San Francisco, in the City of South San Francisvo, County of San Marco, State of California, as the time and place for hearing all persons interested in , or objecting to, the vacation of said streets and easements. Section 3. No%ices of the passag~e of this resolution of intention, giving the time and place appearing ther~ shall be conspicuously posted along the line of said public streets and easements for at least ten(lC) days prior to saic~.~hearing, at not more than three hundred (300) feet in distance apart, and not less than (3)~in all. Section &. The action taken by said City Council is in pursuance of that certain act of the Legislature of the State of Oalifornia, known as the "Street Vacation Act of 19&l", the same being Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and Hi.~hways Code of the State of California. Section 5. This resolution of intention shall be published' by one (1) insertion in the ENTERPRISE- SOUTH S;kN FRANCISCO JOURNAL, a newspaper of general circulation, published and circulated in said City of South San Francisco.
