AUTHORIZING THE EXECUTION OF AN AGRWS~I~T BETWEEN THE CITY OF S0b~H
SAN FRANCISCO AND SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, TO
PROVIDE FOR FIRE PROTECTION TO TEE PROPERTY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO
UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT, SITUATE OUTSIDE OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO.
Resolved by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that said City enter into an agree-
ment with South San Francisco Unified School District, wherein said City will f~rnish stand-by fire protection
service to the property of South San Francisco Unified School District known as the Avalon School, which is
situate on the west of Dorado Way, west end of Country Club Drive, adjacent to the City of South San Franctsco~
which stand-by fire protection service shall consist of the following:
The City of South San Francisco will upon receiving a fire alarm send fire equipment and men from
its fire department for the purpose of attempting to extinguish the fire and suppress the same, provided, however,
that in the event property within South San Francisco shall be iu jeopardy of fire, or such fire fighting equipment
is required to suppress fire within the City of South Sau Francisco, the fire department~ by and through its fire
chief or his deputy, may abandon further efforts to extinguish such fire on the premises of said South San Fran-
cisco Unified School District.

The Mayor and the city clerk are hereby authorized to execute said agreement.
