A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF T~E CITY OF
SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO IN M~4ORY OF JOHN W. COLEBEED,
CITY ATTORNEY OF TEE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO.
WHEREAS it ham pleased Almighty God in His infiuite wisdom to remove from our midst JOHNW. COLEBERD; and
WEEREASMr. Coleberd was, for more than forty-one years last past, a resident of the City of South Sau
Fraucisco; aud
WHEREAS Mr. Coleberd, for approximately thirty-uiue years the City Attorney of the City of South Sau Fran-
cisco, commeuciug iu the year 1911 aud coutinuing until the time of his death ouMay 21, 1952, served said city wit~
the utmost loyalty, faithfulness, and competeuce; aud
WHEREAS Mr. Coleberd was a man of sterliD~ integrity, and an example of the best citizenship, and, as a
loyal aud faithful public servant, coutributed greatly by untiriug efforts to the up-building aud improvement of
the City of South Sau Francisoo,
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that this city council laments the passin~
of Mr. Coleberd and extends its sincere sympathy to his family in their ho,mr of sorrow.
BE IT ~ RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the minutes of the city council and that copies
thereof be sent to the members of the family of Mr. Coleberd.
