RESOLUTION ORDERING TIlE '70HK FOR ]2ffROV~IT OF THIRD
LANE FROM EUCALYPTUS TO A POIh~r 58'WEST OF LAUREL, AND
DIRECTING THE WORK TO BE DONE UNDER THE DIRECTION OF
THE !?ORES
V~F~qEAS the City Council o~ the City of South San Francisco did on the lOth
day of July, 1952, adopt its Res'olution of Intention No. 1785 to order the therein de-
scribed work and ~nprovement to be done and made in said city, which resolution of in-
tention was regularly published in the 5ime, form, and manner as required by law, as
shown by the affidavit of publication of said A~esolution of Intention on file in the
office of tn~ city clerk of said city;and
~.WLEREAS, after the adoption thereof, notices of thepassage oI said Resolution
of Intention, headed "Notice of Improvement", were regularly posted in the time, form,
manner, loc~tions, and number as required by law, as appears from the affidavit of post-
ing said notices now on file in the office of said city clerk; and
~S,after the aaoption thereof, notices of the adoption of said Resolution
of Intention were duly mailed to all persons owning real property proposes to be assess-
ed in the time, form, and manner and to the persons, as required by law; and
~EREAS said City Council having duly received and considered evidence oral
and documentary concerning the Jurisdictional facts in this proceeding and concerning
the necessity for the contemplated ~rk and improvement and the benefits to be derived
therefrom, and~it appearing that no protests or objections have been filed in this mat-
ter, ~nd said City Council having now acquired Jurisdiction to order the proposed im-
provement,
IT IS HEREBY P. ESOLVED by said City Council that the public interest and con-
venience required the improvement herein referred to, and said City Council hereby or-
ders that the work and improvement~as set forthand described in said Resolution of In-
tention, and in thepl,ns and specifications therein referred to, be done and made.
All said work shall be performed under 5he direction ~ the Works Engineer, and all
materials used in connection therewith shall comply withthe specifications and be to
the satisfaction of the said works engineer.
BE IT M~RTHER RESOLVED that the boundaries of the assessment district, and
the grades t o ~ich said work and imorov~ment are tobe constructed, shall be those
set forth and described in said ResoDAtion of Intention, am~ ~ the Plans and Spec-
ifications therein referred to, reference to which is hereby m~de for all further
particulars.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held
on the 6th day of August, 1952, by the following vote:
