ESTABLISHING PREVAILING ~VACE SCALE
RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that
'~}~EAS, the Engineer oi' Work of said City r~as ascertained the general prevailing rate of
per diem wages in the locality in which public work is proposed to be peri'ormed I'or work of a sim-
ilar character to that described in Re~olution of Intention No. 182A adotped October 6, 1952; and
~HEREAS, this Council has duly considered said scale and finds the same to be correct in all
particulars;
NOW, THE?~EFORE, IT ISHEEEBY FOUND, DETERNIRqED AI~D ORDEQED, as follows:
1. That said wage scale as set I'orth in the specil'ications is hereby adopted as the prevailing
rate of perdiem wages i'or work of a similar character to that above d~scribed in the locality in which
such public work is proposed to be performed.
2. That not l&ss than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be psid for any work
proposed to be performed under said Resol~tion of Intention.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly adopted by the City
Council of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting thereof held on the 6th day o~'
October, 1952, by the following vote, to-wit:
Ayes, Councilmen Adolph Sani, Joseph Bra-.co, Telford Smith, Emilio Cortesi
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen John Noonan
Arthur A. Rodondi
City Clerk
