A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN
FRANCISCO APPROVING THE RECO~9~NDATION OF THE PLANI',TING
COMMISSION OF SAID CITY .%ND DIRECTING TH. AT A VARIANCE PEP$.~IT
BE GRANTED TO ARCO BUILDING CO~ANY.
WHEREAS the planning commission of the City of South San Francisco has, after holding a
public hearing following publication of proper notice, re-.ommended that a variance permit be
granted to ARCO BUILDING COMPANY allowing said company to subdivide the PARK HAVEN ~;BDIVISION
so that some of the lots therein, as shown on the tentative map presently on file with the clerk '
of said ciby, shall have areas less than five thousand (5,000) square feet but not less than
forty-five hundred (&,500) square feet, but which shall have frontages of at least fifty (50) feet
at the building set-back lines and depths of at least ninety (90) feet; and
~HEREAS the City Couflctl of the City of South San Francisco has duly considered in open meeting
the application of said ARCO BUILDING COHPANY for such variance permit; and
WH~iEEAS it has been clearly demonstrated to said City Council that a hardship case exists and
that sa:ch variance permit should be granted,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by said City Council that the recommendations of the planning
commission, be , and the same hereby-~re , approved, and the building inspector of the City of South
San Francisco is' hereby directed to issue to said ARCO BUILDI~G COMPANY a wariance permit allowing
said company to divide the PARK HAVEN SUBDIVISION so that some of the lots therein, as shown on the
tentative map presently on file with the clerk of said city, shall have areas of less than five

frontages of at least fifty (50) feet at the b~,.~ilding set-back lines and depths of at least ninet2

I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and re~Alarly adopted by the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco at a regulsr meeting thereof held on the 20th day of October, 1952,
by.'the following vote:
