A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF SO~TH SAN
FRANCISCO AWA~DI~TG CONT~ACT FOR THE CONST~UCTI.~N OF ^N ADD-
ITION OR EXTENSION TO THE PUBLIC LIBRARY OF SAID CITY.
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session, on the
22nd day of October, 1952, publicly open, examine, and declare all sealed proposals or bids for
doing the work and improvement, and for the furnishing of all materials, labor, and equipment nece-
ssary for the doing of said work and improvement, in s,id city;
NO"~, THEREFO~tE, IT IS ~qEBY ]~3]SOLV-£D that said city council hereby rejents all of said proposals or bids
except that herein mentioned and hereby awards the contra,.t for doing said work and makinE said im-
provement and for ~he furnishing of all materials, labor, and equipment necessary for the doing of
said work or improvement to the lo,est responsible bidder, to wit:
BEn, CON CO~STH'!CTION COMPANY at the prices named its bid on file in the office of the city ~.lerk.
Upon the filing of proper bonds by said suc~.essful bidder with the city clerk of said city, the
mayor is hereby authorized ~o execute the contract i'or doing said work and improvement, and said city
clerk is hereby directed to affix thereto ~he oI'fieial seal of said city.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and adopted at
adjourned regular meeting of the City Council of the City of South San Francisco held on the 22nd
day of October, 1952, by the following vote, to-wit:
Ayes, Councilmen Adolph Sam_i, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Braceo, Telford Smith
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Co~ncilmen John Noonan
