ESTABLISHING PREVAILING ~VAGE SCALE
RESOLVED, b~ the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, California, that
WHE~EAS, the Engineer of Work of said ~ty has ascertained the general prevailing rate of per diem
wages in the locality in which public work is proposed to be perl'ormed for work of a similar character to
that described in Resolution of Intention No. 1838 adopted November 5, 1952; and
~.~REAS, this Council has duly considered said scale and finds the same to be correct in all particulars;
NO:~4 THEEEFORE, IT IS HE~EBY FO~D, DETERMIN~D AND CHD~ED, as follows:
1. That said wage scale as set forth in the speciI'ications is hereby adopted ss the prevailing rate of
per diem wages for work of a similar character to that above described in the locality in which such public
work is proposed to be performed.
2. That not less than said general prevailing rate of per diem wages shall be paid for any work pro-
posed to be perI'ormed under said Resolution of Intention.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and reguA~ry adopted by the City Council of
the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned regular meeting thereof held on the 5th day of November, 1952,
by the following vote, to-wit:
Ayes, Councilmen John N~onan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith
Noes, Councilmen None
Absent, Councilmen- None
