'W~E~t~AS, the City Council of the City of South San Fraocisco did on the 5th day of
November, 1952, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 1838 to order the therein described
work end improvement to be done and made in sai~ City, which Resolution or Intention was 5uly
an~ legally published in the time, form and manner as retu±red by la'~, ss shown by the affidavit
o£ publication of sai~ Resolution of Intention on file in the office of the Clerk of ssi~ City; and

the office of the Clerk of said City; end
~EREAS, after the adoption t~ereof, noti.~.es of the adoption of sai~ Xesoiution of Intention
were duly mailed to all persons owning real property proposec to be assesse~ Jn the time, form, and
manner and to the persons, as re,?~ired by la~; and
'~EREAS, said City Council having duly received and considered evidence ora! and documentary
concerning t~ e jurisdictional facts in this proceeding and concerninc the neoessity for the contem-
plated work and improvement and the benefits to he derived therefrom, and it appearing that no pro-
tests or objections have been filed in this matter, and said City Council having now acquired juris-
diction to order the proposed improvement, it is hereby
~SOLVED: By the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that the public interest and
convenience require the improvement herein referred to, and said City Council hereby etd ~rs that the
work a~d ic:~provement as set forth and described in said Resolution of Intention and in the plans and
specifications therein referred to, to be done and made.
RESOLVED, ~THER: That the boundaries of the assessment district, and the grades to which said
work and improvement are to be constructed, shall be those set forth and deseribe~ in said Resolution of
Intention, and in the Plans sn~ Specifications therein referred to, reference to which is hereby made
all further particulars.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly 8nd reg~larly adopted by the City Council
of the City of South San Francisco at a regular meeting thereof held on the 1st 8ay of December, 1952 by
the following vote, to-wit:
