RESOLUTION A'!~ARDING CONTi~ACT.
~'~E~AS, the City Count:il of the City of South San Francisco did, in open session, on the 1st
day of December, 1952, publicly open, examine, and declare all sealed proposals or bids for doing the
work and improVeme,t and for the furnishing of all materiaIs, labor and equipment necessary for the
doing of sai~ work anU improvement, in said C~ty, ~escribed in Resolution of Intention No. 1838 of the
City Council of sai~ City, adopted on the 5th day of Nove~nber, 1952, ~ich Resolution of Intention is
hereby expressly referred to for a description o%' said work and improvement and for ~ll particulars re-
lative to the proceedings u~er s~id Resolution of Intention;
NO'% TU"'IEFORE, IT IS HE?JZ~~ RESOLV~D: That said City Council hereby rejects all of said proposals
or bids except that herein mentioned and hereby awards the contract far doing said work and makin.~ said
improvement ~nd for the furnishing of all materials, labor and equipment oecessary for the doing of said
work or improvements to the lo.~est responsibl~ bidder, to-~it:
B. Miles Thomas Co., a California Corporation at t~e prices named in its bid on file in the office of
the City Clerk.
The City Clerk is hereby dire.stem to publish notice of said award twice in the SO~TH SAN FRANqlSqO
EYTER?RISE-JO~UiNAL, a weekly newspaper publishe~ anm circulated in said City and hereby designated for
that purpose by said City Council.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intordu~ed and adopted
at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of ~outh San Francisco held on the 15th day oI'
December, 1952, by the following vote, to-wit:
