7~H~EAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco did on the &th
day of May, 1953, adopt its Resolution of Intention No. 1881 to order the there-
in described work and improvc~'~ent to be done and made in said city, which resolution
of intention was regularly published in the time, form~ and manner as required by
law, as s~own by the affidavit of publication of said Resolution of Intention on
file in the office of the city clerk of said city; and
~',~EtEAS, after the adoption thereof, notices of the passage of said Resolution
of Intention, headed "Notice of Improvement", were regularly posted in the time,
form, manner, locations, and number as required by law, as appears from the affi-
davit of posting said notices now on file in the office of said city clerk; and
~,~E~EAS, after the adoption therof, notices of the adoption of said Resolution
of Intention were duly m~iled to all persons owning real property proposed to be
assessed in the time, form, and m~nner and to the persons, as required by law; and
%~.~3_REAS said City Council having duly recieved and considered evidence oral
and documentary concerning the jurisdictional facts in this proceeding and ~ncerning
the necessity for the contemplated work and improvement and the benefits to be
derived therefrom, and~it appearing that no protests or objections k~ve been filed
in this matter, and said City Council having now acquired jurisdiction to order the
proposed improvement,
iT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by Sa~d City Council that the public interest and conven-
ience require the improvement herein referred to, and said City Council hereby orders
that t he work and improvement as set forth and described in said Resolution of In-
tention, and in the plans and specifications therein referred to, be done and made.
All said work shall be performed under the direction of C. E. RANDLETT, as engineer,
and all materials used in connection therewith shall comply with the specifications
and be to t?~e satisfaction of the said works engineer.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the boundaries of the assessment district, and the
grades to which said work and Lmprovement are to be constructed, shall be those
set forth and descri~ed in said Resolution of Intention, and in the'Plans and
SpecificaZions therein referred to, reference to which is hereby made for all further
particulars.
I hereby certif~that the foregoing resolution was regularly adopted by the
City Councilof the City of South San Francisco at an adjourned regular meeting
thereof held on the 1st day of June, 1953, by the following vote:
