R~OLUTION AMENDING NO. 1888, PROVIDING FOR Tk~ ISSUANCE
OF I~ROVF/~ENT BONDS.
RESOLVED: By the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, that
WH~.~EAS, the City Council of said City did, on the 18th day of May, 1953, regularly and
duly pess and adopt Resolution No. 1888, providinE for the Issuance of Improvement Bonds in
the denominations therein designated; and
WH~%REAS, it has come to the attention of the ~id City Council that the bonds have pre-
iously thereto been co~u%itted to mature in denomin~tions of three bonds of $1,0OO.OO each and
one bond of $46.56 to meture each ycar instead of in the denominations heretofO~.e~mdopted, and
~EAS, no protest or objections against the issuance of bonds )~aving been presented
before or at the time of the hearing on the adoption of Resolution No. 1888;

the same is hereby amended in part as follows;
Section 3: that said bonds shall be Seixty (60) in number, shall be dated May 18, 1953,
and bear interest at the r~te of five per cent (5%) per annum from the 2nd day of February,
1953, being 31 days after the ~ling of the assessment on December, 31, 1952, ~nd the denominations
of said bonds and the intcrest couoons required to attached thereto, with the respective nmmbers
and d~tes of maturity are as follow:

Section 4. With reference to the $1OOO.OO bonds, the first coupon attached to said bonds
shall have a denomination of $~5.83, and the subsequent cupons attsched to said bonds shall have
a denomination of $25.00.
The first.coupon above referred to shall represent interest upon the principal of the
$1'O00.O0 bonds to which the same are respectively attached comb~g due January 2, 1954, and the
subsequent coupons above referred to shall represent the interest coming due on the principal
of the $1,000.OO bonds to which are respectively attached for the several semi-annual periods
subsequent to said date.
With reference to the $46.56- - ~$.59 bonds, the first coupon attached to said bonds shall
have a ~enomination of $2.14, and th~ subsequent coup~n~ atl~ched to, aid bond~ ~h~ll h~ve a den-
omirmtion of $1.17.
The first coupon referred to in the $46.56--46.59 bonds shall represent interest upon the
principal of the said respective bonds to which the same are respectively attached coming due
January 2, 1954, and the subsequent coupons above referred toshall represent the interest com-
ing due on the principal of the respective bonds to which sre respectively attached for the several
semi-annual periods subsequent to said date.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and' regularly introduced and passed
at a regular meeting of tl-~e Cit~ Council of the Cit? of South San Francisco held on the 15 day
of June, 1953, by the following vote, to-wit:
