A RESOLUTION OF T!~ CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO GIVING NOTICE OF THE
PROPOSED A~EXATION OF C~RTAIN CONTIGUOUS
UNINHABITZD TERRITORY TO SAID CITY OF SOUTH
SAN FRANC~CO, SAID TERRITORY TO BE KNG'~ AS
"BURI BURI NO. 3."
I~IEREAS the City Council of the City of South San Francisco has received a written
petition from BARRETT & HILP DEVELOPMENT COMPANY, a California Corporation, to annex to
s~id City of South San Francisco the uninhabited territory situate in the County of San
Mateo, State of California, Particularly described as follows:
BEGINNING at an angle point on the present corporate
limits line of the City of South San Francisco, said
angle point being on the Southwesterly prolongation
of the Northwesterly line of Sterling Manor, as shown
on a map recorded in Book 31 of Maps at pages &9 and
50, San Mateo County Records, distant thereon 155.08
feet from the most Westerly corner of Lot 1, Block 8,
of said Sterling Manor; thence South 26° 06' 23" East
along present corporate limits line, a distance of
2199.01 feet; thence North 85° 10' West 67.2L feet; thence South 7&° 17' 43" West 121.53 Feet;
thence South 67° 20' 35" West 1L9.08 feet; thence
South 33° 10' 38" West 190.78 feet; thence South 27°
00' 05" West 176.79 feet; thence South 88o 32' 20"
West 127.97 feet; thence North 80° 11' West 320.00
Feet; thence North 60° LB' &3" East 21.82 feet;
thence Ngrth 2&° 07' 08" West L73.59 feet; thence
South 70~ 57' West 396.00 feet more or less to .the
Westerly property line of Junipero Serra Boulevard;
thence North 19° 03' ~sst along said Westerly line to
the present corporation limits line of the City of
South San Francisco; thence North LO° 13' 36" East
along said present corporate limits line to the
point of beginning.

WHARF, S the territory hereinbefore described is in fact unihabited territory; and
~PREAS said city council has found, and does hereby find that said BARRETT & HILP
DEVELOPMENT COMPANY is the owner of more than one-forth (I/L) of the area of the land
hereinbefore described which land represents more than one -fourth (I/L) of the assessed
value of said territory, according to the last preceding equalized assessment roll of the
County of San Mateo.
NOW T~.~REFORE BE IT R~SOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco
that said city council hereby designates the territory hereinbefore described as "BURI-
BURI NO. 3" for the purposes of identification.
BE IT FbRT}!FR RFSOLVED by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco that
Thursday, the 23rd day of July, 1953, at the hour of 7:30 o'clock p.m., and the council
chambers of the city hall in said City of South San Francisco be, and the same hereby are,
fixed as t he tine and place when and where any person or persons owning real property ~ith-
in the tcrrit~or~hereinbefore described, and so proposed to be annexed, and having any ob-
Jection to the proposed annexation of such territory may appear before said city co~Cil
and sh~ cause why said territory should not be so annexed.
The city clerk of siad city shall cause a copy of this resolution to be published once
a week for two (2) successive weeks in the SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ~Z~PHISE-JOUPJL~L, A news-
paper of general circulation, published in said City of South San Francisco, and likewise
for two (2) successive weeks in T~ ADV.~CE-STAR, a newspaper of general circulation ~ublished
in the County of San ¥~teo, but elsm~here than in the City of Sou~h San Francisco, both of said
publications to be completed at least twenty (20) days prior to the d~te of the hearing pro-
vided for in the p~ragraph next a~ove.
I hereby certify that t~e foregoing resolution was regul~r!y introduced and adopted by
the City Counoil of the City of South San Francisco, at a regularly afJorned meeting held on
the 23rd day of June, 1953.
