RESOLUTION AMENDING RESOLUTION NO. 1924 PROVIDING FOR
THE ISSUANCE OF IMPROVEMENT BONDS.
RESOLVED: By the C~'ty Council 'of the City of South San Francisco that:
WHEREAS, the City Co~ncil of said City did, on the 8th day of September,
1953, regularly and duly pass and adopt its Resolution No~ 192A which provided
for the issuance of Imorovement Bonds in the denominations therein designated;
and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the said City Council that the de-
mand of the contractor, B. MILES THO)lAS CO., was erroneous in that it showed that
Diagram and Assessment Nos. lA and 15 in the sums of $?93.88 and $162.43, respectively,
were unpaid; and
WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of said City Council that said ~mounts
wer~ naid by the owners thereof to the contractor and that the total unpaid assessment
is $3'664.58, and
WHEREAS, no protests or objections against the issuance of bonds having 'been
Dresented before or at the time of the hearing on the adoption of Resolution No. 1924,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY FOUND_ DETERJ~,~INED AND ~RDERED that Resolution No.
1924 be, and the same is, hereby amended in part as follows: , .

"1. That said list of assessments unpaid filed by said Engineer of Work, as
aforsaid, was, at th time of filing thereof, in all respects complete and correct,
and that since the filing thereof (no) (certain) assessments have been paid, other
than those hereinafter set forth, and also that the unpaid assessments in the pro-
ceedin~s duly had and taken under and pursuant to said Resolution of Intention No.
1838, and the aggregate amount of the same, are as follows:

"2. That the total or aggregate amount of said assessments unpaid i's the sum.
of $3,66&.58.
"3. That bonds shall be issued upon the security of said unpaid assessments
in the said amount of $3,66&.58 in accordance with the nrovisions of said Improve-
ment Bond Act pT 1915, and under and nursuant to the nrovisions of said Resolution
of Intention No. 1838 and the proceedings thereunder duly had and taken; that said
bonds shall be ten (10) in number, shall be dated September 8, 1953, and bear interest
at the rate of five per cent (5%) per annum from the 9th day of July, 1953, being
thirty-one (31) days after June 8, 1953 - the date of the recording of assessment,
and the denominations of said bonds and the interest coupons required to be attached
thereto, with the respective numbers and~datas of maturity, are as follows:

"~. With reference to said bonds, the first coupon attached to said bonds
shall have a denomination of $27.17. and the subsequent coupons attached to said
bonds shall have a denomination of $9.16.
"The first coupon above refered to shall represent interest upon the prin-
cipal of the respective bonds to which the same are respectively attached coming
due January 2, 1955, and the subsequent coupons above referred to shall renresent
the interest coming due on the principal of the respectiMe bonds to which are res-
pectively attached for the several semi-annual peridds subsequent to said date."
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was duly and regularly intro-
duced and passed at an adjourned meeting of the City Council of the City of South
San Francisco held on the 28th day of September, 1953, by the following vote, to-wit:
