ORDERING T~iE VACATION OF A PORTIO~ OF PUBLIC ROADWAY OR THOROUGH- FARE K~IOWN AS "SAN BRUNO ROAD" AND LYING WITH- IN THE CITY OF SOUTH SAN FRA~CISCO. WHEREAS the City Co~ncil of the City of South San Francisco did, on the 21st day of September, 1953, ~dopt a resolution declaring its intent- ion to order the vacation of a portion of .San Bruno Road, a public road- way or thoroughfare in said city, which portion of said street is p~'~rt- icularly described as follows: Ail that certain real property situate in the City of South San Francisco, County of San · Mateo, State of California, described as follows: ~11 that portion of San Bruno Road included within San Mateo County Parcel 26, "South San Francisco Marsh Lands" as per deed from Spring Valley Water Company to the City and County of San Francisco dated March 3, 1930, and recorded March 3, 1930, in Volume 491, at page 1, Official Records of San Mateo County, California, described as, CO~4ENCING at a point on the ea. sterly line of said San Bruno Road, being the northwest corner of that certain 3.341 acre portion of said Parcel 26 as described in the deed from the City and County of San Francisco to Ed. R2 Guerin et ux dated November 3 1948 and recorded November 2~, 1948 in Volume 1596, at page 544, Official Records o~ San Mateo County, California; running thence south 89° 54' west 33.Ol.feet to the center line of said road; thence along said center line north 1° 22' 54" e.ast 132.94 feet and north 4° 1~, 11" east 244.59 feet; thence leaving said center line, north 73o 41' 15" west 33 feet, more or less, to the westerly line of said San Bruno Road; thence northerly along last named line to the westerly boundary of said Parcel 26; thence northeasterly along last named line to the easterly line of said San Bruno Road; thence southerly along last named line to the point of cormmenceraent. AND WHEREAS said resolution of intention was published, and notice of the passage of said resolution of intention was posted, in the manner and form required by law, reference being hereby made to the affidavits of Dave Corsiglia and Hazel Taverner, which affidavits are now on file in the office of the city clerk of said city; AND WHEREAS a public hearing was held at a regular meeting in the City Hall of said City on the 19th day of October, 1953, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock p.m., and no protest has been made against the closing of said portion of said street at any time; AND WHEREAS said City Council has determined, and doss hereby determine, that said oortion of said oublic street is unnecessary for present or prospective public street purposes, NOW, THEREFORE, said City Council hereby orders that said oortion of said oublic street be, and the same hereby is, vacated. I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly intro- duced and adooted bv the City Council of the City of South San Francisco, this 19th day of October, 1953, by the following vote: Ayes, Councilmen John Noonan, Adolph Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford Smith.
