A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO ADOPTING A BUDGET AND
APPROVING A MEMORANDUM OF AGREEMENT FOR TtlE
EXPENDITURE OF GAS ,TAX ALLOCATION FUNDS ON
MAJOR CITY STREETS.
WHEREAS, a memorandum of agreement to be entered into between the State of
California on the one hand, and the City of South San Francisco on the other hand,
has been presented in accordance with a project statement submitted by said city
for the expenditure of the gas tax allocation funds to said city for the fiscal
year 195~; and
WHEREAS said city council has heard read sRid agreement in full, and is
familiar with t~,e contents thereof,
NO%.'~, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by. the City Council of the City of South San
Francisco that said project statement be, and the same hereby is, adopted as the
budget of proposed expenditures of the gas tax allocation fund to said city for
said fiscal year, and, further, said agreement is hereby approved. The Mayor of
said city is hereby authorized to execute the same on behalf of said city, and
the City Clerk is hereby directed to attest to the same apd affix thereto the
corporate seal of said city.
BE IT FURT}~ER RESOLVED that said agreement shall be binding upon said city
immediately upon the execution by the duly authorized officials of the State of
California.
I hereby certify that the foregoing resolution was regularly introduced and
adopted by the City Council of the City of South San Francisco this 19th day of
October, 1953, by the following Vote:
Ayes, Councilmen: John Noonan, AdolPh Sani, Emilio Cortesi, Joseph Bracco, Telford
Smith.
NOes, Councilmen: None
Absent, Councilmen: None.
